Alltogether for making dreams come true!

Our lovely service user Lyndsey celebrated her 40th Birthday this year and everyone at Alltogether Care Services grouped together to make it a birthday she'll never forget.

Unknown to Lyndsey, our Service Manager, Laureen had arranged for her to meet the players and staff of #Celtic Football Club before their big game. It has always been Lyndsey's dream to meet her "Bhoys", and we are over the moon at the generosity of everyone involved.

Our Supervisor, Margaret and Senior, Sheena surprised Lyndsey on the Sunday morning with her routine service. Unbeknown to Lyndsey she was in for the biggest surprise. She was assisted into a specialised, fully accessible vehicle before they made their way towards the team hotel.

Once on their way, the staff finally revealed the big surprise, Lyndsey, whose smile was from ear to ear never faltered. A couple of tears where shed from both Lyndsey and the staff accompanying her, at how overwhelmed with emotion she was at being made such a fuss of. Lyndsey is a wonderful woman with a wonderful sense of humour. She always lightens up everyone's day and has such an impact on everyone she meets.

Upon arriving at the team's hotel, Lyndsey was given the VIP treament and treated to an early birthday lunch before getting the chance to meet the players.

A wonderful day all round was had, and we've still had a couple more surprises in store for Lyndsey for her Birthday, but we won't spoil it all just yet.

A couple of thank yous firstly to everyone at #Allied Vehicles Group for #gifting us the Ford Independence™ It gave us the freedom of using wheelchair accessible transport to fulfil one woman's wish.

Secondly a special thank you to all the staff and team at #Celtic Football Club for arranging to meet with Lyndsey before the game and truly making someones dreams come true. The surprise wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for the staff and players taking the time to talk and get to know Lyndsey.

Finally, to everyone at Alltogether Care Services who raised money in the selling of Football cards and donations to make this happen. You are all fantastic and making a difference in someones lives is what you all do everyday. Keep up the good work!.
